Frequently Asked Questions

Start with the section that matches the issue, then check the account, client, local network and destination service conditions in order. This page describes published service rules; route examples and a single visit to a third-party platform are not presented as long-term guarantees.

CHECK ORDER

Identify the affected layer first

Account and subscription issues typically appear as sign-in failures, an outdated subscription or missing routes on a new device. For connection issues, check the local network and client permissions first; speed issues require comparing routes and the destination service; order issues should be verified against the plan, payment and ticket records in the user panel. Following this order avoids repeatedly reinstalling a client when the local network is at fault and prevents third-party account requirements from being mistaken for route problems.

ACCOUNT / SUBSCRIPTION

Accounts & subscriptions

Create an account, retrieve a subscription, update configuration and change devices.

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required; a username and password are enough. Save them securely, as you will use these credentials to sign in to the user panel, view plans, retrieve your subscription and submit tickets. If you change browsers or devices, sign in with the same account instead of creating another one.

What is a subscription link, and where can I get one?

A subscription link imports the routes associated with your account into a client. It is not an ordinary promotional webpage URL. After choosing a plan, sign in to the user panel, find the subscription entry in the Overview or Client area, and import it for your platform. Subscription content is account information and should not be copied to public webpages, group chats or untrusted tools.

How do I update a subscription link?

Find the current subscription in your client, use its update subscription or refresh configuration option, and then check the route list again. If the client still shows old content, return to the user panel to confirm that the subscription entry works, then remove the old subscription from the client and import it again. Updating syncs route information only; it does not replace local network checks or client permission settings.

Do I need to buy again when I change devices?

No separate purchase is needed when you change devices; this service supports unlimited devices. Sign in to the same account on the new device, get the client and subscription for that platform from the user panel, and import them. Unlimited devices does not mean every network environment will perform the same way; connection quality still depends on the local network, route selection and the destination service.

CONNECTION / CHECK

Connections & troubleshooting

Start with the subscription import, local permissions and traffic-routing rules.

What should I do if no routes appear after importing a subscription?

First confirm that you imported the subscription entry provided in the user panel, not a plan page or ordinary webpage URL. Then update the subscription in the client, check whether it has been disabled, and confirm that the client has the required network permissions. If the list is still empty, copy and import the subscription again. Do not publicly paste the full subscription while troubleshooting; describe the client platform and symptoms in a support ticket instead.

Why won't a particular app use the proxy?

A common cause is that the client is using per-app rules, a bypass list or proxying only selected traffic, so the target app is excluded from the current connection. Check the client's global and rule-based modes first, then review system network permissions and the app's own connection settings. If webpages work but one app does not, compare their routing rules before repeatedly changing accounts.

The client says it is connected, but webpages still won't open. What should I do?

A connected status only means that the client completed its local connection process; it does not guarantee that the target webpage can be accessed. Check in order that the local network works, the subscription is up to date and the current route can be changed, then close any conflicting network tools. Test several webpages afterward. If only one site is affected, also check that site's account, regional rules and service status.

What should I check if I suddenly cannot connect after changing networks?

Switching from a home network to an office, campus or mobile network can change the network exit and available connection conditions. Pause the connection first and confirm that the new network can open ordinary webpages, then update the subscription and try other routes. If one network works and another does not, start by checking restrictions on the new network, system permissions and the client's operating mode.

ROUTE / PERFORMANCE

Speed & routes

Route selection should account for the local network, target region and actual access results.

How should I choose a route?

Prioritize the target website's region and your current network performance rather than looking only at the region name. Test webpages, AI tools or video services with a geographically closer route, then compare connection stability. If the target service has account-region, content-region or risk-control requirements, the route is only one factor. Check the target page again after switching, and do not treat one result as a long-term guarantee.

What should I do about slowdowns during peak evening hours?

Evening slowdowns may come from local broadband congestion, wireless interference, fluctuations on international links or load on the destination service. Use a wired connection or a more stable wireless signal to rule out local issues, then update the subscription and try routes in different regions. For video, temporarily lower the quality to see whether bandwidth remains insufficient. Do not judge a route's long-term performance from a single speed test.

Can you guarantee that AI tools or video platforms will always work after connecting?

Availability on third-party platforms cannot be treated as a fixed guarantee. AI tools and video platforms may evaluate the route exit, account region, content licensing, payment details, client environment and their own rules. Check the target service directly after connecting; if there is a problem, try another route, sign in again or review the account requirements. VPNFD provides international routes but does not replace third-party access rules.

What do 100+ countries / 250+ routes mean?

100+ countries / 250+ routes describes VPNFD's coverage and the total range of available regions and routes. It does not mean every country has the same number of routes, nor that every route performs identically on all local networks. In practice, use the current route list in the user panel and choose based on the target region, connection stability and actual access results.

BILLING / REFUND

Billing & refunds

Distinguish monthly subscriptions from data plans, and use the order records in the user panel as the source of truth.

What are the monthly subscription prices and traffic reset rules?

Monthly subscriptions: ¥9.9/month includes 60GB · ¥18/month includes 250GB · ¥28/month includes 500GB. Traffic resets monthly on the activation date, so use the activation date in your account as the monthly cycle rather than the calendar month. Choose a tier based on your actual usage across everyday browsing, AI tools, video and system updates.

Does a data plan reset every month?

Data plans remain valid until used and never expire: ¥158/300GB · ¥358/1000GB · ¥658/3000GB. They use a different billing model from monthly subscriptions, which reset on the activation date, and suit users with irregular usage who prefer to consume a fixed total allowance. Before choosing, confirm on the plan page whether you need a monthly subscription or a data plan.

How is a mid-cycle monthly subscription upgrade calculated?

For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is prorated according to the remaining days. Before upgrading, check your current plan, remaining period and available tiers in the user panel, then confirm before proceeding. Because the calculation is based on remaining days, do not estimate the final amount from the monthly prices alone; use the order information shown in the panel.

Which payment methods are supported?

Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. Open the user panel, choose a plan and create an order, then complete payment using one of the methods shown on the page. Keep the order page accessible during payment and return to the panel afterward to check the order status. Do not pay plan fees through temporary payment details found outside the public pages.

How do I request a refund?

This service offers a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the account used to purchase the plan, submit a ticket through the user panel and include the relevant order and refund request. Before submitting, you may keep a record of the client symptoms and troubleshooting already completed to distinguish a connection issue from a refund request. The refund policy page and order records govern the process.

NEXT CHECK

What to prepare if the issue persists

Before submitting a question, record the platform used, what you see in the client, the current network type, the routes you have tried and whether the issue affects every website or only one service. Do not paste the full subscription or your password into the description. The closer the information is to the actual fault layer, the easier it is to determine whether to check the account, client, local network or destination service.
